Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Pastry Chef and Pastry Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to established standards.
Supervise and train the kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Contribute creative ideas to menu development and special events.
Uphold food safety and hygiene regulations.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role or as a Pastry Junior Sous Chef or Pastry Senior Chef de Partie.
Luxury restaurant or 5* hotel experience preferred - however not essential.
Strong culinary skills and a passion for innovative cooking techniques.
Knowledge of various cuisines, cooking methods, and food presentation.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and demands.
