Pastoral Teaching Assistant A Secondary alternative provision is looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic teaching assistant to provide pastoral, social, emotional and well-being support for children across school.
You will aim to manage their behaviour by providing coping mechanisms and activities to promote a calm and respectful environment.
- Temp to perm position - Burnley - Full-time (8:30 – 3:30pm) - Pay: Dependent on skills and experience The role will involve: - Assisting with the implementation of individualised education or behaviour plans for the child.
- Providing one-on-one support or small group support to help children overcome academic challenges and develop social and emotional skills.
- Collaborating with teachers to create and adapt classroom activities to cater to diverse learning needs.
- Promoting a safe and inclusive atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported.
