Partnership Vacancy Blackthorn Medical CentreWe are looking for an additional GP partner(s) for 6-8 sessions wanting to help us shape the future of our well established and growing 3 partner practice. The partners are supported by 2 salaried doctors, one of whom is emigrating, one advanced (prescribing) nurse practitioner and an experienced paramedic who is doing their prescribing course. We strive to deliver excellent clinical care as well as offering warmth, inspiration and courage to those challenged by illness.

Developing additional medical services Teaching and training.
About usBlackthorn Medical Centre is a highly regarded training practice for GPs, advanced care practitioners, nurses, various ARRS staff, medical students as well as guiding administrative staff to upskill and take on ever more complex tasks to support the work of the clinicians such as document handling, prescription team, routine lab results action and filing . We currently have 2 GP trainers and two GPSTs. Retention of staff excellent.
