Job Title : Partner Operations Manager Location : Remote (UK) Job Type : 6 Months Contract (Potential Extension) Company: Big Tech About the Role: We are seeking a Partner Operations Manager with 2-4 years of experience in project management , operations , and partner engagement .
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing cross-functional projects , developing and scaling processes , and interacting with both internal and external stakeholders .
This role will require working closely with external strategic partners such as Google, managing contract operations, and providing operational support for a variety of key business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Project Management : Lead and manage operational and strategic workstreams, including scaling processes, reporting, and occasional partner engagements.
Own the project management for key initiatives and deliver updates to leadership.
Contract Operations : Take ownership of contract execution, including managing approvals, purchase orders, and contract lifecycle for priority workstreams and partner engagements.
Partner Support : Support ad-hoc requests from partners and leadership, ensuring smooth communication and preparation for internal and external meetings.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams (e.g., product teams, legal teams, engineering, and management) to drive projects and processes forward.
Leadership Reporting : Develop and provide updates and leadership reports, presenting progress on key projects, partner engagements, and operational performance.
Stakeholder Management : Engage with external stakeholders (primarily tech partners like Google) and manage relationships, ensuring smooth operations and timely follow-ups.
Day-to-Day Activities: Project Management : Manage established product work, including vetting external partners, collecting necessary data, and facilitating communication with developers.
Own the process of scaling projects and ensuring updates are communicated.
Contract Operations : Oversee the contracting cycle, including multiple internal steps, from initial agreement through to shipping agreements with developers.
Ensure compliance with contract protocols.
Ad-Hoc Support : Provide ongoing support for partner requests, including preparing content and organizing meetings with partners such as Google and other key external stakeholders.
Team Interaction : Collaborate with a small team under the AI and Reality Labs Partnerships division, managing cross-functional teams internally and directly engaging with external partners.
Required Experience: 2-3 years of experience in operational or project management roles, preferably in the tech industry or similar large-scale organizations.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing internal processes .
Direct experience engaging with external strategic partners and managing partnerships .
Hands-on experience in contract operations , including managing approvals, purchase orders, and internal contracting processes.
Experience in scaling new processes and developing operational reports.
Proven ability to manage multiple strategic projects simultaneously and provide regular updates to leadership.
Team Structure: The role will sit under AI and Reality Labs Partnerships , working closely with a small team of 3 POCs .
Most interactions will be internal , working with teams like product managers , engineering , legal , and leadership (85% internal).
External interactions will primarily involve partners like Google and developers, including scaled communications and managing follow-ups for ongoing engagements.
