Meet the team behind this journeyWe are looking for our first Partner Marketer to join the DeepL Demand Generation Team to support the efforts of the Global Partnerships organization. The Lead Partner Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading marketing campaigns and initiatives to, through and with DeepL's partner community on a global basis consisting of ISV, Reseller, Distribution, VAR and OEM partnerships.
This pioneering role requires a self-starter who is passionate about enabling and activating partner relationships and achieving commercial success across a wide array of marketing tactics. Our preference is for someone who likes building repeatable and scalable GTM partner marketing initiatives in conjunction with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, e.g. Marketing, Sales, agencies, etc.
Your responsibilitiesPartner Recruitment
Lead initiatives to recruit new strategic partners by defining criteria for ideal partners and implementing targeted outreach strategies
Onboarding and Enablement
Design and implement a comprehensive onboarding program for new partners, ensuring they understand product offerings, value propositions, and marketing resources.
Collaborate with partners to create joint go-to-market plans that outline shared objectives, strategies, and tactics.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of partner marketing initiatives.
Marketing Collateral Development
Develop and maintain marketing materials, including presentations, case studies, and promotional content, to support partner marketing efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on partner initiatives and messaging.
Plan and execute joint marketing events, webinars, and workshops with partners to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
Feedback Loop and Continuous Improvement
Gather feedback from partners regarding the effectiveness of marketing programs and support provided.
Budget Management
Manage the partner marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI on partner initiatives.
Qualities we look forExperience in Partner Marketing
Extensive experience executing large-scale partner marketing initiatives, preferably within B2B SaaS organizations, with a focus on recruiting and activating relationships with channel partners.
Project Management Expertise
Excellent project management skills with the ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks in high-pressure situations, ensuring timely execution of partner marketing initiatives.
Collaborative Mindset
Strong work ethic and a collaborative mindset, with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace while fostering positive relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Proactive and Humble Attitude
A practical and proactive approach to problem-solving, demonstrating humility and a willingness to support team efforts while efficiently accomplishing tasks.
Analytical and Strategic Thinking
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends and partner performance, collaborating across functions to develop strategies that influence decision-making and drive results.
Understanding of B2B Partner Events
Strong understanding of B2B event planning and management, specifically tailored to partner-focused events, webinars, and joint marketing initiatives.
Campaign Creation and Execution
Proven experience in creating and executing effective marketing campaigns designed to drive engagement and attendance at partner-led online and offline events.
Budget Management Skills
Proven experience managing event and marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI on partner marketing activities.
