The McLaren Accelerator function is a team of specialist practitioners in McLaren Racing and our wider network, applying our expertise, processes and culture from elite motorsport to help overcome our Partners' business challenges.
We combine F1-derived technology and cultural approach with the Partner's specialist domain knowledge, to deliver measurable results against their objectives.
Role Dimensions: Working with either the Culture Transformation Lead or Senior Specialist, Talent programmes to deliver Partner goals.
Take ownership of the execution of one or two cultural transformation programmes for our commercial partners, (with support available from the broader team) making McLaren Racing's expertise available to our partner organisations.
Be the day-to-day point of contact for the partner team and develop (alongside the team) partner cultural transformation programmes incorporating numerous exciting offerings, topics and delivery styles.
You will play a key role in coordinating and developing the programmes as well as the content behind them.Principal Accountabilities: Working with the Cultural Transformation Lead and Senior Specialist, Talent programmes, support with shaping culture and Leadership development programmes for our partner organisations, ensuring their successful delivery against contract and KPIs.
Support with relationship management of key stakeholders and be a day-to-day point of contact on the projects you are allocated to for partners.
Tailor and develop culture and leadership development content for learning programmes that you and the team are running.
Manage logistical elements of programmes, coordinating with attendees, events teams, speakers and virtual delivery providers.
Lead in the organisation and coordination of key assets relating to your culture & leadership programmes, such as supporting on the delivery of collateral, merchandise, internal events, social media and digital assets.
Ensure all these assets are delivered on brief and with the required branding in time for their use in the programme.
Conducting and supporting with lessons learned exercises, documenting, and then implementing key action points from these reviews Own and lead the execution of smaller projects as you build your network and specialism with support from the wider team where required.
Work with the broader Accelerator team to ensure all projects are in-line with our overall strategic approachLead on asset tracking against partner rights, to ensure that we are successfully delivering against contracts.
Support the team on development of new materials, approaches and offerings.Job requirementsKnowledge, Skills and Experience: Experience working in house, or via an agency or consultancy to deliver unique and impactful culture, leadership programmes Experience working on talent topics related to: culture, leadership, data, strategy, innovation, lean, human performance (some of)Project/programme management and co-ordination experience, working with multi faceted, complex programmes and multipleExperience supporting the development of L&D / talent / leadership programmes Experience working in, or with, engineering or tech organisations would be desirable Problem Solver – ability to work with ambiguity, learn and adapt previous approaches and problem solve for the partner using appropriate techniques Experience of or confidence and interest in developing facilitation and presentation skills Experience and comfort working with senior leaders would be desirable Personal Attributes: Comfort working at pace through complexity A self-starter who is able to work in ambiguity Ability to apply / work within an agile methodologyA creative and proactive approach to continuously solving challenges The ability to switch from big picture thinking to delivering true attention to detail A natural relationship builder with an ability to engage and build relationships with a range of stakeholders across all levels with an ability to influence and persuade – both internally and with Partners Commercial acumen Continuous improvement mindset with a drive for ever great performance and impact An passion for what you do Confident communicator Effective teamworking at a functional and project level As a relatively new team we are looking for someone who is keen to get stuck in and help across developing areas as well as the day-to-day programme and content development elements of the roleWhat can McLaren offer?We constantly strive to be better tomorrow than we are today.
