This is a junior to mid-level role that focuses on company accounts, profit and loss (P&L), invoicing, and debt control.
This role is ideal for a finance professional with experience in the entertainment, influencer marketing, or creator economy industries who is looking for a flexible, part-time position.
Key Responsibilities Company Accounts & Financial Statements: Maintain and manage company accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
Profit & Loss Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly P&L statements, providing insights into business performance.
Invoicing: Oversee and manage the invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate billing to clients and partners.
Debt Control: Track outstanding invoices, communicate with clients on overdue payments, and manage debt recovery processes.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process incoming and outgoing payments, manage accounts payable and receivable, and keep records updated.
Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements to ensure alignment with financial records.
Expense Management: Track company expenses, verify receipts, and ensure proper documentation to facilitate accurate bookkeeping.
Financial Analysis: Provide basic analysis on financial data to highlight key trends and support business decisions.
Support Audits: Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation to external accountants as needed.
Skills and Experience Required Industry Experience: Previous finance experience in entertainment, influencer marketing, talent management, or the creator economy.
Accounting Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles, with experience managing company accounts and preparing P&L statements.
Attention to Detail: Accurate and thorough in managing financial records and documentation.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients regarding invoicing and payments.
Organisational Skills: Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial tasks within a flexible, part-time schedule.
