Our Client has a requirement for a Part time EC&I Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in either Glasgow or Warrigton Role Purpose: Senior or Principal EC&I engineer to lead design delivery and assist in providing client oversight of packages of work within site management - SFM asset care.
Job Role Responsibilities: A preference for nuclear experience is preferred.
The candidate would a team of CE&I engineers and designers in the delivery of design packages for current and future design stages.
Be fully conversant with Regulator requirements, Standards and Procedures applicable at a project level and ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements.
The ability to work with minimal supervision.
Can produce, check, and provide technical oversight of CE&I key deliverables documents/reports, calculations, schedules, drawings etc.
to programme and appropriate quality.
Able to deliver to relevant standards, codes and regulations.
Able to work collaboratively with other disciplines, stakeholders and the wider project team.
Experience and ability to deliver projects at a variety of lifecycle stages from scoping through to operational handover and close out.
Experience, ability and desire to support less experienced engineers, graduates and apprentices.
Experience of managing engineers, designers and supply chain contracts.
Understanding of project fundamentals - Familiarity in using typical project metrics to evaluate and report design progress.
Experience developing CE&I schedules and estimates.
Experience planning, monitoring and managing resource requirements.
Can provide support and able to lead technical and project meetings.
SC clearance would be preferred.
