Part Time Bookkeeper

This is a great opportunity for a bookkeeper to join a well-established company on the outskirts of Radlett.A varied and busy role looking after the bookkeeping for 7 businesses within the group, working within a friendly environment and in a beautiful location.They are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to work 21 hours per week with flexibility offered around times and days worked.A car driver is required for this role due to the location of the office.What's in it for you?Salary: £16.50-19.20 per hourHours: 21 hours per weekFlexibilityFriendly teamVaried roleKey Responsibilities:Maintain ledgers across multiple entitiesPrepare and issue recurring and one-off sales invoicesAccurately process and reconcile credit card receiptsManage supplier invoices and receipts, ensuring proper electronic storage of documentsProcess credit card payments and expenses efficientlyAllocate bank payments and receipts using the automated bank feedRegularly reconcile bank statementsSupport the credit control process, including issuing statements and follow-up emailsResolve queries related to sales and purchase ledgersEnsure the correct use of VAT, nominal and department codes for transactionsComplete quarterly VAT returnsComplete month end processes including balance sheet reconciliationsPerform finance and administrative duties as assigned by Senior ManagementWhat the employer is looking for:2 years+ experience in BookkeepingAAT qualifiedExtensive experience with Sage 50 Accounts is essentialStrong knowledge of financial processes and accounting principlesExcellent organisational skills with strong attention to detailEffective time management and ability to meet deadlinesFlexible and willing team member, able to cover for absences and helpful can-do attitude
