JOB PURPOSE Soil Science Ltd are looking for a proficient construction administrator to support the back-office functions of the business.
This role will be fast paced and varied and will require flexibility, and the ability to multi task will be a must have.
This role would be working 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday (25 hours per week).
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This role is to support the project manager with all the following requirements, including:   Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure smooth functioning.
Maintain organized records and handle data entry.
Liaise with H.O about supplier invoice queries/supplier payment requests.
Coordinate communication between departments and act as a point of contact for staff.
Managing training schedules/site card accreditations.
Assisting with the processing of timesheets/sub-contractor invoices.
Co-ordinate hotel bookings for site personnel.
Assist with new supplier/customer requests.
Providing general support to the Operations and Site teams.
Support management with ad hoc tasks and special projects as required.
Responsibility for compliance and discharging legal duties with regards to HR and Health & Safety to promote a safe, equitable and legally compliant work place.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
Commercially and fiscally astute.
Experience within the construction industry(Desirable).
UK Driving license (Desirable).
