We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our client's Senior Team with a variety of admin tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations and efficient collaboration across departments.
They are seeking to appoint this permanent member of staff as an independent contractor.
This part-time, fully remote role (in the UK) involves working 17.5 hours per week, ideally spread across Monday to Friday.
Overview of the role: The Admin Assistant will be responsible for: Providing comprehensive admin support to the Senior Team Collect, organise, and analyse data for reporting Monitoring and managing company inbox, ensuring timely responses Maintaining and updating digital files Facilitating smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for contractors Acting as a liaison between various departments and teams Managing data in company systems and databases Updating company social media accounts Assisting with project coordination and ensure deadlines are met Preparing and sending contracts Key Requirements: Proven experience in an administrative or office assistant role, ideally within academic publishing Proficient in Office 365 and comfortable with database systems Strong multitasking and prioritisation abilities with excellent attention to detail Good written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with managing social media platforms A proactive and resourceful approach to challenges Comfortable working collaboratively across teams If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are ready to support a busy Senior Team in driving success in academic publishing, we want to hear from you!
