Part Time Accounts Payable Assistant

We are recruiting for a Part-time Accounts Payable Assistant to join a leading international company based in Watford.This varied role will see you working with a focus on accounts payable duties, but with additional tasks including online banking, posting receipts and payments, and reconciliations.This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and successful company, within a supportive team, with room for growth and enhancing your existing skillset.
What's in it for you?· Salary: £30k pro rata· 20 hours per week - flexibility on the days/hours worked· Hybrid working· 25 days annual leave · Free onsite parking· Life assurance and more!Key responsibilities:· Processing invoices· Raising payments to suppliers· Setting up and maintaining customer and supplier records· Resolving queries and reconciling accounts· Review and process employee expenses· Managing online banking, including posting receipts and payments· Month end reconciliations · Assistance with credit control· Assistance with year-end auditsWhat the employer is looking for:· Proven bookkeeping and accounts payable management experience· Confident in using Excel· A proactive approach and self-starter · Any experience working with multi-currency invoicing would be beneficial, but not essential· Experience using varied accounting systems would be beneficial, but not essential
