Position Overview: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team on a temporary to permanent basis.
As an LSA, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential support to students with ASD, helping them overcome challenges, and facilitating their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and group support to students with ASD.
Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Support students in developing essential life skills.
Collaborate closely with teachers and therapists to meet students' unique needs.
Monitor and report on students' progress to the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator).
Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should have:
A genuine passion for working with children and young adults with ASD.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.
The ability to work effectively within a team.
Previous experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications (desirable).
