PAYE rates £85- £95 per day depending on experience
Type of school: 3-19 SLD/PMLD
Do you have experience supporting children and young people with learning and physical disabilities?
Do you have any family members or friends who have additional needs that you have helped support?
Are you seeking to gain experience or looking to develop your career further in SEND?
We are working with a creative specialist school in that support children and young people with severe and profound learning needs.
The school are looking for a caring and nurturing SEND Teaching Assistant to support a class of 9 pupils ages 12-15 years.
A good understanding of pupils with profound needs would be desirable as the class has pupils who use wheelchairs and requires hoisting.
However, full training can be provided if experience in none or limited.
What can you expect as a SEND Teaching Assistant?
The opportunity to change a young person's life The possibility to use your own hobbies and interests to lead extra-curricular activities Extensive training, whether that be as a general teaching assistant, teacher, or even a therapist Facilities such as; swimming pool, sand and water room, IT suite, soft play, and sensory gym, sensory gardens, large playground, sensory rooms, library, art room.
School hours between 8:45 - 3:45 We pay PAYE daily rates!
£85 - £95 per day, depending on experience Parking Available A sense of community amongst the staff team Teacher training opportunities for budding teachers!
