Parcel Delivery Driver

Parcelforce are looking for experienced Parcel Delivery Drivers on a temporary ongoing basis to distribute parcels in the Birmingham area.
You will be based at the delivery site in Central Birmingham.

Due to a high volume of response to this role, we will only consider CVs with parcel delivery/van driving experience.
Parcelforce courier parcels every day to people throughout the country and are relied on by communities across the UK.
We are now looking Parcel workers to be a part of this world-class service, supporting a very busy period.
You will be responsible for delivering parcels quickly and efficiently in a van, going out on a dedicated route, whilst maintaining our high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service.
Other duties may also include sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office.
Working as Parcel worker you will receive £14.04 per hour.
The role is working 5 out of 7 days (Monday - Friday) with weekend rest.
As a Parcel worker, you will need the following: - Full UK Manual Driving licence, with no more than six points.
- MINIMUM 6 months of van driving experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Upbeat and self-motivated.
- Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather.
- Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Resilience and flexibility.
