To assess, manage, treat,refer and/or signpost patients who attend surgery with undifferentiated orundiagnosed condition relating to minor illness or minor injury.The post holder will useadvanced clinical skills to provide education to patients, promoting self-careand empower them to make informed choices about their treatment.Job responsibilities: Home visitsManaging and treating patientspresenting with minor illness Triage and treat patientswishing to see a health care professional, making any necessary referrals toother members of the primary health care team Patients with problems needingreferral to secondary care should be discussed with the registered GP beforemaking such referral Ensure clinical practice issafe and effective and remains within boundaries of competence, and toacknowledge limitations Advise patients on generalhealth care and minor ailments, with referral to other members of the primaryand secondary health care team as necessary FULL job description can be supplied upon request About us We are a friendly andinnovative training practice; based in a modern building in Potters Bar.
