Job summary Responsible for managing a mixed caseload include statement request files, employer/public liability claims, clinical negligence claims, general advices and sometimes basic inquest matters.
To assist the Legal Services Team with the day to day administration, conduct and investigation of legal matters as required.
Main duties of the job This is an exciting opportunity to work in the legal team at Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.
You will be responsible for managing a mixed case load of matters.
You will hold a degree in Law and possibly a relevant postgraduate qualification (LPC or BPTC).
Previous experience working as a Paralegal is a significant advantage, particularly experience in the management of clinical negligence/personal injury claims and/or inquests.
Experience of working in the NHS or with NHS clients would be an advantage.
The role requires an individual who has the confidence and experience to communicate effectively with a wide range of health and legal professionals.
The Trust offers Solicitor Apprenticeships and these have been offered to previous Paralegals who have demonstrated exceptional skill and commitment to the role.
