Paralegal Department: Private Residential Property Location: Edgbaston, Birmingham Type: Full-Time, Permanent We are looking for an attentive individual to join Talbots as Paralegal.
To be successful, you will have at least a minimum of 12 months experience working within a conveyancing department.
As a Paralegal will be expected to assist lawyers in our conveyancing teams on client matters from inception through to completion such as sale, purchase, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, registered titles, unregistered titles, leasehold and freehold properties.

What the job involves: Deal proactively with a wide range of clients across a variety of communication methods, including email and telephone.
Obtaining simple indemnity policy quotes, request searches and review mortgage offers whilst reporting to client.
Drafting registered contracts including issuing and chasing contracts as well as proof-reading system generated documentation.
Update relevant software such as TM Secure and SOS and maintaining compliance requirements inline with SRA, Lexcel, Law Society Quality scheme Standards, SARs and accounting requirements.
What you need: At least 12 months experience of working as Paralegal within a conveyancing department.
To be passionate about giving outstanding client care to both clients and referrals and have excellent administrative, planning, and organisational skills.
Working knowledge on how to use case management systems, land registry portal and online conveyancing software.
