Pallet Truck Driver

Job Role: Pallet Truck Driver Rate of Pay: £12.00 for the first 40 hours £15.00 after 40 hours Working week: A 5 on 2 off shift pattern with an average of 45 hours per week.
Working hours of 07.15am until 17.25pm with flexibility required.
Responsibilities: Safely operation of powered pallet trucks to transport fresh goods within production areas Load and unload pallets from vehicles and storage areas Working within a cold store environment (temperatures ranging from 0-5 degrees Celsius) Repetitive manual handling of products (Up to 18Kg) Keep the dispatch area clean and tidy at all times Maintain excellent levels of hygiene and health and safety standards Report any damaged or missing goods, non-conformance's or accidents to relevant managers Key Skills: Current and in date PPT truck license (Desirable) Experience of working in a warehouse or stores based environment Have an understanding of health and safety and food hygiene standards To have the ability to interpret and follow written and spoken instructions Comfortable with a physical role where manual handling is a frequent requirement The ability to learn how to operate hand-held scanners Benefits: 28 days holiday including bank holidays Pension Scheme Fortnightly Pay Development Opportunities Discretionary Christmas Bonus Free on-site parking Access to Free Wifi Please submit your CV (in Word) and cover letter outlining your relevant experience and explaining why you are interested in this role to: ****** New Appointments Group, Expertly Matching Employers and Jobseekers since 1975.
