Job Description We are recruiting a Painter/Blaster for our client in Aberdeen.
This role would be on a 3 month contract at 39 hours per week with the opportunity for overtime as well.
Please find the job requirements below: \n Qualifications & Experience: \n \n Proven experience in blasting and painting.
\n Strong communication and organisational skills.
\n Ability to comply with all HSEQ processes.
\n Experience in third-party management.
\n High standards of housekeeping.
\n Forklift operator certification (minimum 2-ton capacity).
\n Rigging qualification level 1.
\n Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic work environment.
\n \n Key Responsibilities: \n \n Oversee the completion of blasting and painting processes as per job requirements.
\n Set up and test equipment before use.
\n Perform necessary quality control checks and complete related reports.
\n Maintain cleanliness and organisation in workshop and yard areas.
\n Provide support to trades and Paint shop personnel when needed.
\n Conduct blasting and painting according to job specifications.
\n Ensure the Paint shop and Blast Bay areas, as well as equipment, are kept clean and organised.
\n Carry out equipment repairs and maintenance when required.
\n Undertake additional tasks in line with your skill level, including rigging duties as necessary.
\n \n HSEQ Responsibilities: \n \n Familiarise yourself with the company's HSEQ Policy and actively contribute to the compliance and enhancement of the Integrated Management System.
\n Report any incidents, near misses, or potential issues with products, services, or systems to your Line Manager.
\n Adhere to all legal obligations under local health and safety laws and follow all company processes and procedures.
Be familiar with emergency response protocols.
\n Ensure the health and safety of any subordinates and visitors on company premises.
