About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Paint Shop Department.Are you an experienced and skilled Paint Sprayer or Paint Prepper?Do you take pride in delivering ultra-high-quality finishing work for some of the world's most exclusive car manufacturers.Are you interested in working on some of world's most prestigious vehicle development programmes for leading car brands?Then is the perfect role for you!Role and ResponsibilitiesPreparing and painting visual carbon fibre and other surfaces to a high standard, both primed and unprimedPreparing component surfaces using aqua blasters, orbital sanders and manual sanding techniquesFollowing standard operating procedures and visual aids to ensure consistency and qualityMasking components prior to paint application using masking tapes and paperMixing paint by volume and viscosity to approved documentation and specificationsApplying paint by spray techniques to the required PQSMixing paints and lacquers in accordance with technical data sheetsMaintaining and cleaning painting/lacquering equipmentSkills and Experience RequiredProven experience in automotive and/or aerospace paint spraying is highly desirableStrong skills in surface preparation and knowledge of paint application techniquesExperience in mixing paints and lacquers, with a particular advantage for those familiar with matt lacquersAbility to read, understand, and follow instructions, including technical data sheets and visual aidsExceptional attention to detail and precision in all aspects of workEffective team player with a positive, 'can-do' attitude, able to collaborate closely with colleagues and work independently when neededStrong communication skills, with the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback professionallyExcellent timekeeping and reliability, with a consistent attendance recordMaintain a professional, accountable, and proactive attitude at all timesAdditional InformationWorking pattern.
Monday to Friday, 8am until 4:30pmOvertime.
