#JoinTeamEliot Main duties of the job Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for a specified group of patients.
Takes charge of the ward as delegated by the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse for a specified period of time.
Acts as a Team Leader, delegating appropriate tasks and supervising the standard of care delivered by more junior qualified staff, unqualified staff and learner nurses in the ward team.
Assists the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse in the management of preceptorship of newly qualifies staff, returning to nursing staff and the mentorship of nursing students and health care support workers.
