About the role Yooralla has multiple vacancies in Endeavour Hills, Narre Warren and Sandringham for passionate, positive relationship builder, with experience working with a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model to join our team as a permanent, full-time or part-time , Paediatric Speech Pathologist. This fulfilling role will provide best practice, evidence-based speech pathology services across the scope of practice to children with a disability to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
Your working days may involve:
delivering therapy in people's homes, educational settings or in the community; aimed at maximising a person's functional skills and participation as well as promoting physical health and wellbeing communication skills and/or mealtime safety and promoting overall health and wellbeing. working part of an interdisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Psychologists providing indirect client service/family coordination to support client goals. About You You'll be an established and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, be a member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA), have good interpersonal skills, and ability to engage people with a disability, motivate them and build their capability. You'll have an ability to work in partnership with children with a disability to set and achieve goals, and to work collaboratively with the person's supports, including their families.
