Paediatric Complex Care Nurse Location – West Midlands Salary: Dependant on Experience Working Hours – 37.5 hrs per week At AMG Nursing and Care Services, we are looking to expand our team of Community Complex Care Paediatric Nurses.

The Role: In this rewarding role, you will support children with complex medical needs in their community, focusing on those requiring complex care; tracheostomy care, ventilation, PEG feeds, and medication management.
Supported by the Clinical Complex nursing team you will work autonomously to train, guide, and support care workers towards sign off at competency level.
You will provide clinical support, knowledge, and guidance to ensure effective running of your packages to the highest-level whist following best practice guidelines and working within the NMC Code of Conduct.
Your Responsibilities Will Include: Comprehensive Care Planning: Designing, implementing, and reviewing personalised care plans to ensure every child's unique needs are met effectively and safely.
Training and Education: Delivering hands-on training to carers and families, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to manage tracheostomy care, ventilation, PEG feeding, and medication administration.
Clinical Expertise: Providing high-quality nursing care while adhering to best practices in paediatric complex care.
Collaboration: Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, family-centered care, liaising with therapists, GPs, and other healthcare professionals.
Ongoing Support: Acting as a key point of contact for families, offering guidance, emotional support, and advocacy.
About You We are looking for an experienced, caring, empathetic and compassionate paediatric nurse with: Qualifications: Paediatric Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
Experience: Significant experience in paediatric critical care or in a community complex care setting, with the ability to manage tracheostomy care, ventilation, PEG feeding, and complex medication regimens.
Skills: Strong teaching and mentoring abilities to effectively train carers and families.
Attributes: A calm, empathetic, and family-centered approach, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently in the community.
Driving License: A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
