Main duties of the job As a Paediatric Complex Care Assistant, you will be responsible for caring for the unique needs of the client, which may include taking them to medical appointments, helping them get up in the morning, or spending a full 12-hour shift supporting them throughout the day.
You will need to have experience in the specified complex care tasks and the ability to build a strong connection with the client.
The role offers flexible shift options, including night shifts, and the opportunity to work with multiple clients if desired.

Depending on the client, you may be working on your own or part of a team.
If you wish and have the availability, you could provide to support more than one client.
Before you start, you'll have the chance to meet your client and their family.
And when you do, you'll have day-to-day support with a Care Co-ordinator or Nurse Manager always on hand to answer your questions.
You'll also be able to access our 'Carer App' which is a fantastic source of insight and information.
