Packaging Store Operative

Job Description We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Packaging Store Operative to join our Beetroot team.
In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate management of packaging and ingredient stock to meet internal and external operational needs.
Key Responsibilities: \n Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and timely supply of materials while maintaining inventory integrity.
\n Enforce intake, acceptance, and booking-in procedures for packaging and ingredients.
\n Accurately record daily stock movements using handheld scanning equipment and ensure materials are correctly stored.
\n Collaborate with production, planning, suppliers, and transport teams to meet service level expectations.
\n Prepare materials for production shifts to avoid downtime and ensure seamless operations.
\n Conduct cycle counts and stock reconciliations to maintain inventory accuracy.
\n Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
\n What We're Looking For: \n Knowledge: Experience in inventory management systems, warehouse operations, food safety standards, and supply chain processes.
\n Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and analytical abilities, with attention to detail and technical proficiency in handheld scanning devices.
\n Abilities: Adaptability, teamwork, problem-solving, and a hands-on approach to maintaining operational efficiency.
