Pace Lead - Mayfield Special School

We are seeking a person who has the drive and ability to make a difference.
A person with exceptional passion for, skill and understanding of children who experience complex mental health needs and associated challenging behaviour.Our new PACE lead will be able to coach for, model and lead a trauma informed PACE approach in our small specialist school.You will:Work proactively with children, families and staff teams to support social and emotional development.Take a lead in using functional behaviour analysis, along with planning and reviewing interventions for social and emotional development.Monitor and analyse high level behaviours.The Right Candidate Will Have:A good understanding of child development and learning processes.The ability to be a great team player and also be able to work independently and use initiative.An open-minded and inquisitive approach to the job but the ability to work to agreed strategies and procedures.The ability to develop and sustain positive relationships with children, fellow staff members and families.Experience of using ICT effectively.Why work at Mayfield?Working at Mayfield School offers a rewarding and enriching experience for educators and staff alike.

These posts are subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and barred list check and other Safeguarding and Medical Checks.
The interview will be a panel interview along with a written task and may include other tasks on the day.
All candidates will be required to provide two references which will be taken up if shortlisted but before interview.
