Making a Difference: In this role, you will directlyimpact patients' lives by ensuring they receive timely and accurate appoint Main duties of the job Based at Lincoln County Hospital Working pattern: Monday to Friday - 17:00pm.
Part time hours are availableand evening hours are also available - Salary: Band 3 £24,071 - £25,674 per annum depending on experience As a Senior Administration Assistant in Outpatients, you will: Provide high-quality administrative support to the Outpatients Department, ensuring smooth day to-day operations.
Coordinate appointments, booking both new and follow up appointments ensuring national and local targets are always adhered to.
Act as the first point of contact for patients both face to face and by telephone, offering excellent customer service.
Liaise effectively with GP's and other health care professionals both internally and externally.
What we're looking for: GCSE's grade C and above in Maths and English or equivalent Previous experience of working in a customer care environment or experience of working in an administrative related environment Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
You don't need to have previous NHS experience--just the passion to learn and contribute to a team dedicated to providing the highest level of care.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential GCSE's Grade C and above in Maths and English or equivalent Experience and training to Vocational Level 3 or equivalent Desirable Computer Literacy and Information Technology (CLAIT) Basic knowledge of Medical Terminology Previous Experience Essential Experience of customer care OR Experience of working in an office environment Experience of using Microsoft Office - to include Excel and Outlook Desirable Experience of working in a reception area Knowledge or experience of NHS working Knowledge, skills, aptitudes Essential Ability to evidence/demonstrate key values and behaviours in line with the Trust framework Ability to prioritise and organise own workload Ability to work on own initiative Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills, written and verbally, with ability to demonstrate fluency, clarity and effectiveness at all levels Attention to detail and accuracy Desirable Awareness of National and Local Targets, including cancer targets Knowledge of hospital and clinical information systems including CareFlow Specific Requirements Essential Ability to work effectively within a large team or individually Ability to cope with sometimes distressing/emotional situations Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability and willingness to work flexibly Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
