About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced OSS Network Consultant to join our team and lead complex OSS and network management solutions for high-profile clients in the Telecom, Banking, and Government sectors.
As a key member of our team, you will design, integrate, customize, and support cutting-edge OSS software solutions, ensuring seamless network performance and optimization.
Key Responsibilities: Analyze, design, develop, and integrate Network Assurance Fault Management applications for fault monitoring.Collect, parse, format, and enrich fault data, including events, alarms, MIBS, and metrics.Model, format, correlate, and suppress alarms, performing root-cause analysis and clustering for efficient fault management.Configure impact rules and automate triggers for proactive fault response.Develop and configure service monitoring over resource faults and KPI monitoring to generate performance alarms.Enrich inventory data and perform topology correlations for comprehensive fault context.Implement alarm presentation and reporting for clear and actionable insights.Required Skills & Expertise: Experience: 7-10 years in Network Assurance Fault Management, including fault data collection, alarm management, and service monitoring.EMC Smarts Expertise: Strong knowledge of EMC Smarts tools such as Service Assurance Manager, Server Manager, Performance Manager, Network Protocol Manager, IP Manager, MPLS Manager, VoIP Manager, Web Console, and reporting.System Administration: Proficiency with RHEL and Windows operating systems, MySQL and Oracle database systems.Event Stream and Telemetry Monitoring: Experience with event stream analytics tools such as Elastic, Splunk, etc., for implementing stream analytics.Telecom Network Assurance: Broad experience in telecom networks and protocols, including IP Ethernet, IP VPN, IP MPLS, Optical transport (WDM, SDH).Network Protocols: Strong understanding of protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.Scripting Skills: Knowledge of shell, Perl, or Java scripting for automation and integration tasks (desirable).
