The Opportunity… EDF are the largest Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) offtaker in the UK and are pushing the boundaries in terms of new innovations.
As an Originator, you will work within our high performing PPA team buying Energy and associated Certificates from a broad range of low carbon and renewable generators across the UK.
Your role will be to manage, identify and grow a portfolio of Generators and Brokers.
You will show commercial acumen and drive through proactive account management, pricing and contract negotiations and are empowered to work directly with customers.
Pay, benefits and culture ? Alongside a salary of circa £47,000 depending on experience (plus sales incentive bonus), potential to earn both a company (5%) and sales bonus, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays and a market-leading pension scheme.

What you'll be doing The team focuses on three separate routes: 1.
Traditional PPA - standard offtake focused primarily on operational assets (and some new build), providing products between 6 months and 5 years 2.
CFD and bespoke PPA – bespoke product offerings focused on long term offtake from new large scale generation projects. 3.
Corporate PPAs – delivering physical, virtual and private wire energy supply to corporate clients.
You'll predominantly work in the first area by seeking opportunities, managing relationships, responding to tenders and leading on commercial negotiations with customers.
Working collaboratively with other parts of EDF, you'll bring the best of our skills and knowledge to our clients.
You will also support with ongoing Product Development, Process Improvement and Change projects as well as attend face to face events with customers including conferences as necessary.
Who you are We're looking for someone with experience in delivering results against ambitious targets through the building and maintenance of effective relationships.
You must be customer centric, brimming with initiative and always acting with integrity.
You will have strong commercial acumen.
You'll be able to spot opportunities for growth, will have the ability to identify new business prospects and foster relationships utilising a diverse range of techniques.
