Major Healthcare are supporting a specialist high-end independent practice based in Henley-on-Thames who are seeking a new Dispensing Practice Manager on a full or part time basis, 4 days a week.
The company are a leading independent with a completely private patient base, this allows them to provide truly bespoke personal eyecare and luxury eyewear.
They offer cutting-edge eyecare technology, including state-of-the-art screening equipment such as the Optomap retinal examination, OCT and MYAH assessments.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support and manager a team of highly experienced eyecare professionals prioritising excellent customer care.
Key Advantages Competitive basic salary of up to £40,000 + professional fees & pension 50-minute testing times promoting a truly personal clinical assessment with patients Their eyewear collections are unique and elegant promoting a wide range of designer and fashionable glasses, with a host of different styles ensuring there is something for everyone The practice tends to use HOYA and ZEISS high-quality progressive lenses but are proud to not be restricted to any one supplier Continuous advances in technology and equipment including OCT, Optomap, MYAH – Biometer & Corneal Topography with a fully computerised management system Offering patients a variety of specialist support including Dry Eye management, Myopia Management, Glaucoma and Cataract monitoring, Paediatrics eyecare, Hear care services and close links with local Ophthalmologist They promote their team to work in a relaxed environment, they have 3 spacious test rooms within the beautifully modern and sophisticated practice, true patient focused and no commercial pressure Weekend flexibility is possible, they close Sundays, Bank Holidays and over Christmas, offering a better work life balance Your day-to-day work will be varied allowing you to become more involved within marketing and practice development They have a very low staff turnover which reflects perfectly on the way they care and look after their staff and team members The team are closely involved in the local community, running regular awareness events and presentations Patient needs are their number 1 goal, and the Directors are highly experienced Optical professionals who continue to work within the practice Being part of a friendly, close-knit team of experienced optical professionals who have worked together for many years and are all passionate about optometry Short- and long-term clinical training and development available including financial support towards a variety of additional qualifications Details and requirements Opening Hours: Monday – Friday (09:00am - 17:00pm), Saturday (09:00am - 16:30pm) Alternate Saturdays available Closed Sundays, Bank Holidays and over Christmas Full or part time position (4 days a week minimum) Weekend flexibility possible Eligibility to work in the UK and GOC Registered Salary and benefits Up to £40,000 Professional fees Statutory pension 20 days holiday + 8 BH (28 in total) What to do next?
