Operations Team Leader Night Shift - Sunday night to Thursday night (40hrs per week) - 19:30-03:30 £28,142 Per annum About the role Our Warehouse teams are the heartbeat of Smiths News.
To ensure our warehouse departments run smooth, our Team Leaders play a key part in ensuring accuracy, efficiency and productivity across their departments and warehouses.
As our Operations Team Leader you'll be responsible for planning and resourcing the warehouse operation to ensure pack accuracy of our products and efficient management products to the department.
You will supervise the Warehouse Operatives, providing training, coaching and working with Management teams to identify training needs as well as potential risks in our operation.
You will also ensure that a high level of health and safety, compliance with company policy and transport legislation is adhered to at all times.

You'll ideally have: Experience of working in a fast paced environment, preferably from a 24/7 logistics, warehouse, FMCG or similar industry background Experience managing a large operation and the ability to liaise at all levels Outstanding communication skills and the credibility to effectively build relationships with all team members and management Experience of planning and effectively executing a warehouse operation.
