What you'll be doing: As Operations Officer you will help coordinate the smooth running of our Edinburgh Airport base which includes liaising with aircraft operators, travel organizers, the airport authority, third-party suppliers, air crew, passengers and relevant authorities to co-ordinate the arrival and departure of our clients' aircraft at the airport. You will be the face of the business providing world class service to our customers, ensuring a smooth transition through our facility whilst safely delivering ground services to our customers' aircraft, including towing and fuelling. As you might expect a longer list of duties is in the HR file, but we can discuss this at interview stage, along with salary, benefits and everything else about this brilliant role. About You: First and foremost? - you know what an excellent customer experience looks like and you know how to deliver this Flexible - this is a multi-faceted role where you could be pouring drinks to approving an aircraft for boarding - No room for egos here Willingness to learn new skills, with full training provided both in the office and outdoors on the 'ramp' with aircraft Ability to work accurately under pressure in an operational environment Excellent interpersonal skills Valid and clean driving licence IT Literate and proficiency in using Microsoft Office programmes – Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. You will be organised with a strong attention to detail Additional languages would be an advantage Previous experience with aviation, travel, luxury retail or hospitality would be advantageous HGV License would be desirable, otherwise you will be trained on this Interested?
