This is a newly created post designed to strengthen the operational running of the business to support the next stage of their expansion.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and managing a small team that includes Finance Administrator and Office Manager, the role will be key to optimising our business processes to increase revenue and staff productivity.
The Operations Manager will play a key role in ensuring that systems are in place and working to best effect across the entire life cycle of the business, from winning new contracts; to efficiently delivering client work; to maximising staff resources and profitability.Key responsibilities will include:- Workflow Management / Capacity Planning: - Profitable Project/Contract Delivery - KPI Tracking and Reporting to the Managing Director: - Operational Data Gathering: - Strengthening Business Processes - Client ManagementExperience & Knowledge- We're looking for someone with strong experience of operations or operations management, ideally in a B2B service firm environment based around time-based project billing.
- You will be someone who is systems-driven, exceptional at implementing projects and processes, with a meticulous eye for detail and outstanding organisational skills.
- You will be familiar with project management software tools, value great data and be comfortable reporting on operational KPIs.
- A proactive and strategic thinker, you will be able to constantly drive operational improvement, implement better processes, increase resource utilisation and find solutions to maximise project performance, margins and profitability.
