Operations Manager – AGV Industry (UK)
Our client, a leading provider of Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) solutions, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimise their UK operations.
This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge automation technologies, driving operational excellence in a fast-evolving industry.

Role Overview
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient delivery of AGV projects and services.
You will oversee teams, streamline processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain the highest standards of performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage operational teams, including project delivery, maintenance, and support.
Develop and implement strategies to optimise workflow, resource allocation, and cost efficiency.
Oversee project timelines, ensuring on-time delivery of AGV installations and services.
Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction by resolving operational challenges promptly.
Monitor KPIs and use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with sales, engineering, and logistics teams to align operational goals with business objectives.
Manage supplier relationships and procurement processes to ensure seamless operations.
Candidate Profile
Proven experience in operations management, ideally within the automation, robotics, or logistics sectors.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process optimisation.
Knowledge of AGV systems, material handling, or industrial automation is advantageous.
Proficiency in using operational management tools and software.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
A degree in engineering, logistics, or business management is preferred.
