Job summary New Islington Medical Practice is looking to add to our management team with a new role for an Operations Manager.The right candidate will have great organisational skills and be able to work independently and autonomously to help lead the non clinical team.
They will work closely with the GP partners to assist with the workload associated with running the practice.We're looking for someone who's got the ability to demonstrate their high quality people management skills and how they work both efficiently and safely in our fast paced, rapidly expanding practice.The candidate would have delegated responsibility for the development of the admin team, acting as direct line manager to them and reporting to both the deputy and practice business manager.The ideal candidate will already be working in General Practice, looking to progress their career development within primary care.

Ensuring sufficient staffing Managing correspondence, including emergency and urgent contact Overseeing registrations and deductions processingTraining & Development: Inducting new staff on local policies, health & safety, and administration systems.
Monitor and drive adherence to Bluestream training schedulesAdministrative Role: Contributing to administrative tasks, dealing with patient queries, and assisting the admin team in times of shortages Assist the senior management team with delegated responsibilities Person Specification Qualifications Essential GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths Experience Essential Existing experience working within a GP practice Experience using EMIS Web or equivalent Primary Care Software(ESSENTIAL) Experience of managing a project Working knowledge of QOF targets Working knowledge of GP annualised delivery targets
