We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our growing waste disposal company.
In this critical leadership role, you will oversee the daily operations of a fleet of 13 vehicles and play a key role in driving operational efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: Fleet Management: Oversee the scheduling, maintenance, and efficiency of a 13-vehicle fleet to ensure reliable and cost-effective service delivery.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage drivers and operational staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement strategies to optimize route planning, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
Customer Service: Maintain excellent relationships with clients by addressing service issues and ensuring timely resolution of customer queries.
Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and budgets, identifying areas for improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with suppliers, regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and compliance.
Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in the waste trade, with a strong understanding of industry-specific operations and regulations.
Demonstrable experience managing fleets and logistics in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive continuous improvement.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance standards.
Proficiency in using fleet management or logistics software is desirable.
What We Offer: Competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
