An excellent opportunity for a motivated Lighting Technician to join a well-established production agency delivering a range of exciting projects across a variety of sectors.

THE ROLE As Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for bridging the gap between our internal teams, including Operations, Project Management, Warehouse, Workshop, and Site teams, to guarantee resources are effectively aligned to meet project demands.
You'll lead the operations department, ensuring that all logistical elements, such as transportation and staffing, are expertly organized to support the successful execution of live events and projects.
Your role will involve overseeing the daily running of our operations, refining processes to enhance efficiency, and ensuring we have the right resources in place for each project.
You'll need to be quick-thinking and resourceful, able to adapt to changes and meet deadlines, while maintaining the highest standards of operational management.
Key Responsibilities Ensure efficient communication and resource planning across multiple internal teams.
Manage logistics, crew scheduling, and transportation needs to support event and project requirements.
Continuously improve operational processes to ensure they are scalable and reliable.
Lead the Operations team, maintaining high standards of service delivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders both within and outside the company, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Quickly adapt to shifting priorities and resolve challenges in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment THE CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will have experience in the lighting, audio, or video sector, with a solid understanding of the fast-paced nature of live events.
You should be an excellent problem solver with strong resource management skills, and be comfortable managing a variety of logistical demands.
Although not a hugely technical role, the ideal candidate will have significant experience in the lighting, audio, or video sector, with a deep understanding of the fast-paced and high-pressure environment of live events.
You should possess strong problem-solving abilities and be confident in managing various logistical challenges, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
A proven track record in live event operations, particularly within the technical aspects of lighting, audio, or video, is essential.
You will have demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing teams and ensuring resources are used effectively.
The ability to remain calm under pressure and quickly adapt to shifting priorities is crucial, as the role will often require quick thinking and decisive action in tight timeframes.
Excellent organizational and communication skills are vital for success in this role, alongside proficiency in using computers and office applications.
