Operations Manager Location – North London (on-site) Salary - £55 to 65k A leading retailer in North London is seeking an Operations Manager for their flagship branch.
You will lead a team of warehouse staff to ensure operational efficiency and exceptional customer service.
This role is vital in delivering a great customer experience, and youll collaborate with the Branch Manager to meet KPIs and support the branchs success.
Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse operations to maintain efficient, safe, and customer-centric workflows.
Lead and manage a team of over 35 staff, providing direct leadership and support.
Collaborate with Stock and Health & Safety teams to ensure operational efficiency, accurate inventory control, and compliance with safety regulations.
Organize warehouse service levels to optimize space, streamline processes, and improve customer experience.
Assist the Branch Manager in achieving performance targets and operational objectives.
Monitor and proactively manage staff performance through training and appraisals.
Requirements Demonstrated experience in warehouse or retail management, preferably in the trade or construction materials sector.
Strong leadership abilities, with a background in managing teams of over 20 individuals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate team members.
Proven ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A successful history of enhancing order and efficiency within growing teams and businesses.
