Job DescriptionOperations Manager This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a well known Tier 1 contractor working on a large water infrastructure programme across South Wales.
The company is a well know Tier 1 contractor who operate nationwide throughout the UK and have a number of Regional offices.
Your role as Operations Manager you will joining an award winning business who will be part of the a large water framework covering the Wales Region.
As an Operations Manager you ae responsible for leading and driving the Repair and Maintenance team.

My client is looking for individuals to join the company who would be looking to develop their career and grow within the company as it expands.
Key responsibilities for this Operations Manager role: - Lead and Drive the Repair and Maintenance team.
- Thrive in taking charge of all activities related to the planned and reactive work program.
- Ensure the successful delivery of projects to cost, time, quality and safety targets.
- Oversee P&L and manage productivity and utilization of labour and subcontractors - Must be a strong leader with excellent communication skills - Manage Construction teams, liaising with clients and authorities - Ensuring safety compliance Experience required for this Operations Manager role: - Must be a strong leader with excellent communication skills - Must be organised, detail-orientated and able to meet deadline - Be passionate about delivering exceptional service - IOSH safety certificate - A current valid driving licence - Supervisors street work card - A working knowledge of disciplinary and capability procedures - A working knowledge of accident investigation procedure - Financial awareness and ability to work to budgets - Good understanding, supported by experience of how water network operates - Proven ability to deliver improvements to productivity, safety and customer focus in a utility environment - Welsh speaking would be advantageous Package offered for this Operations Manager role: - Basic Salary up to £59,000 depending on experience - Company Car/Car allowance or access to Salary Sacrifice Car Scheme - Enhances Maternity and Paternity Policy - Matched Pension Scheme - Life Assurance - Private health care
