Atlas is currently looking for an Operations Manager based in the UK with Land Seismic experience.
The job would be office based for our Land Seismic Client.
Options for hybrid working also available.
The Operations Manager will report directly to the Operations Director.
Position Requirements: Supervise and Oversee company operations Seek business opportunities Evaluate and prepare proposals for tender submission Ability to analyze tenders and provide technical alternatives where required Network with potential clients and competitors within the Land Seismic industry Develop and discuss strategies to boost sales and profits Support project and field operations Reports as needed, both operational and commercial Qualifications or Certifications Required: Minimum ten years of onshore geophysical industry business experience Required industry Certifications Secondary Education, degree preferred Proven leadership qualities Should possess business development skills Ability to navigate challenges and diversity Training Requirements: HSE Training (in-house) Common Safety Orientation Standard First Aid (recommended) Safety and Hazard Training Additional training may be required based on work tasks assigned and risk assessments conducted Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure all HSE policies are adhered to and liaise with the HSE Manager for updates and continued development Foster and inclusive and diverse working environment Promote growth and opportunities for employees Promote strategies to ensure HSE policies are encouraged and implemented throughout all phases of the business Evaluate each potential project of opportunity for political, environmental, and human rights risks Evaluate the commercial risk of all potential opportunities Corporate due diligence concerning all potential clients and suppliers General understanding of all related taxation and other related corporate exposure
