Requirements Responsibility for the day to day operations of the glasshouse.
Responsibility for the Glasshouse P&L account.
Responsibility for setting and delivering the yearly budget.
Proactive attitude and commitment to health and safety.
Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues by adhering to company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Overall responsibility for the site maintenance and service contracts.
Overall responsibility for the labour management including labour planning and staff training.
Maintain a close relationship with the technical team to ensure our produce is safe, traceable and compliant.
Responsibility for the recruitment of labour, including planning and liaising with labour providers.
Line management responsibility for the management team, Supervisors and Glasshouse Workers.
Staying up to date with the latest technology.
Managing short and long term work and the labour planner.
Managing the site labour and productivity tracking system and producing accurate reports.
Responsible for the setting the long-term forecasting of production and reviewing sale prices for crops in conjunction with the Commercial team.
Managing the existing and developing new external relationships with suppliers.
Attend call outs/weekend duties as per the rota.
Other duties as required by your line manager.
