Operations Manager (Food and Beverage) - Pavilion Gardens - Buxton, Derbyshire Job Type: Full Time - 40 hours per week Food and Beverage is a key position in the Company.
Carrying out continuous customer and staff relations services, the position provides the postholder with a genuinely rewarding experience and provides a springboard to a leisure management career in one of the most attractive and fast growing leisure management companies.
Role Responsibility To ensure the highest possible standards of Health & Safety and legislative compliance are met.
Manage operational rotas To assist the Contract Manager in the day to day running of the business.
To supervise the day to day operation of all food and beverage outlets in order to maximise profitability in line with the company business plan.
To coordinate and oversee all catering outlets and provide appropriate supervision & direction, support, guidance and motivation and empower staff to ensure exemplary levels of customer care are delivered consistently at all times.
To deputise for the Contract Manager as requested.
To take the lead in all operational aspects of the venue.
Being present in our outlets during peak trading times to ensure excellent customer service is being delivered The ideal candidate Previous track record of Operations or F&B management in a similar role.
Recognised F&B Service qualifications.
Good standard of literacy and numeracy, sound financial acumen.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and staff at all levels.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure managing multiple workloads.
Knowledge of health & safety and food safety.
Basic food hygiene certificate.
IOSH Managing Safely Qualification or equivalent.
First aid certificate.
