Job Description What will you be doing? We're seeking a talented individual to join our Position Maintenance team in Glasgow.
You will be responsible for performing the daily duties, checking and general processing of all Position Maintenance functions, in a timely and accurate basis, whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
You will operate within defined standards and guidelines which are aligned to service level agreements and data quality controls.
As Operations Executive - Position Maintenance, your responsibilities will include among others: Assist team in the completion of daily tasks associated with internal transfers, book cost updates and any other position maintenance functions/requirements.
Ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and that any anomalies are reported to your line manager within agreed timescales.
Ensure that personal and team KPI 's / KRI's / MIR are met.
Ensure that fair treatment of clients is at the forefront of all activities and that all interactions are conducted in an open and transparent manner.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the firms' regulatory framework and how this applies to your role.
Demonstrate an understanding of the risks to clients within their operation and how these will be mitigated.
Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should: Settlement operations experience gained within a financial institution.
Demonstrable knowledge of investment management, including relevant terminology and the regulatory environment and how it applies to and impacts your role.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel.
Demonstrate ability to understand and summarise complex information in a professional and concise manner.
Good communication skills both verbal and written and strong Interpersonal skills are essential.
Ability to work accurately and under pressure, multi-task and interpret information quickly.
Desired: Relevant professional qualifications e.g.
CISI Investment Operations Certificate desirable but not essential.
