Job Description We're seeking a talented individual to join our Fees team in Glasgow or Leeds .
You will provide a first-class support function to the financial planning teams nationwide by way of processing service agreements and fees both accurately and within agreed timescales.
This will include the creation of advice and ongoing fee expectations, maintenance of service records, invoicing, cancellations, and amendments, assisting the finance team with payment defaults, missing expectations and aged debt and the calculation / processing of the payments to introducers and fee exceptions.
As Operations Executive - Fees, your responsibilities will include among others: Ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and work produced within deadlines, any anomalies are reported to your line manager within agreed timescales and personal and team KPI 's / KRI's / MIR are met.
Respond to telephone and email enquiries in a timely professional manner, liaising with fund managers and external parties where relevant and in a timely manner, escalating any issues where relevant.
Log, maintain and respond to written client enquiries in a timely manner, ensuring all client and external documents are relevant and up to date.
Ensuring all work is with a high level of accuracy, including data input, document checking and payments, escalating to manager or relevant department where necessary..
Ensure that fair treatment of clients is at the forefront of all activities and that all interactions are conducted in an open and transparent manner, ensuring high quality service levels are delivered.
Ensure that knowledge and skills are maintained and developed in line with industry, regulatory and internal requirements by undertaking regular and appropriate continuous professional development (CPD).
Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should: Experience gained within a financial services institution especially in Operations is advantageous but not essential.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel.
Strong Interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to various, including senior audiences.
Demonstrate ability to understand and summarise complex information in a professional and concise manner, with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to solve problems quickly, organise workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines.
Responding to queries from both internal and external parties in a timely manner and providing a high level of customer service both internally and externally.
Desired: Relevant professional qualifications e.g.
