Operations Delivery Manager - Events We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Delivery Manager to join my clients team at a central London Events and Conference Venue and lead their operations to new heights.
If you are passionate about catering and hospitality, have a strong commercial acumen, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
Strategy & Operations - Develop and implement catering strategies that enhance customer experience, and optimise performance.
Commercial Management - Lead commercial planning, including pricing strategies, promotions, and inventory management to maximise profitability.
Team Leadership - Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of catering staff, ensuring high levels of performance, engagement, and customer service.
Customer Experience - Ensure that customers receive a consistent, high-quality experience across all of the venue, focusing on service excellence and brand consistency.
Financial Management - Oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring that the business meets or exceeds financial objectives.
Key Requirements The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale events, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality event experiences that align with my client brand and objectives.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in event management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in managing large-scale events with diverse audiences.
Strong management skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in event management software and tools.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and financial reporting.
