What duties does this role involve?
Act as a single point of contact for Continuous Improvement within Operations for the NextPharma business.
As Continuous Improvement Lead you will own the CI program pipeline from ideation to implementation – encompassing the full breadth of operations, to maximise business benefit - from warehouse & utilities, to manufacturing productivity & packaging OEE, to customer service and product lifecycle management.
Experience and expertise with Packaging equipment performance improvement & troubleshooting is desirable and advantageous You will develop and drive a continuous improvement program across all sites, as well as owning & leading key projects – including manufacturing/packaging process improvements, yield and productivity improvements and ideation for future cost savings and cost avoidance, Building capability of CI / Lean and Operational Excellence within NextPharma sites by Driving Zero waste & defect mindset throughout the supply chain.
Driving activities to improve productivity, reduce cost of poor quality and reduce manufacturing cost.
To raise performance levels by establishing improvement culture – i.e.
raising the capability of teams by focusing on business and manufacturing processes: stabilising, standardising, improving & automation; exposing problems, eliminating them & repeating the cycle, thorough root cause analysis To systematically reduce risks to employees, products and the environment through risk assessment, rigorous problem solving and establishing robust and effective CAPA To be the voice of TechOps Leadership where necessary.
What are we looking for in applicants?
University Degree in Business, Manufacturing, Sciences or Engineering – the role requires technical understanding, advanced problem solving and solution development skills.
Motivated, self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset.
Resilient to setbacks and challenges and accustomed to working with sites (all levels) to deliver improvements Demonstrated expertise in delivering step change improvement within a regulated operational environment through Lean Leadership/ Lean 6 Sigma/ Operational Excellence methodologies.
Qualification from recognized institution in Operational Excellence / Lean Six Sigma preferred Demonstrated experience and excellence in implementing productivity improvement and continuous improvement transformations across supply chains & sites.
Experience and expertise with Packaging equipment performance improvement & troubleshooting is desirable and advantageous Execution of improvements within tech transfers, source transfers, new product introductions in a GMP based CMO environment.
The business environment is fast-paced and focused on high performance requiring the ability to prioritize effectively across diverse and competing customer needs, maintaining team motivation and output.
Previous experience in global/ regional function preferred Excellent project management, change management, relationship management and interpersonal skills.
As well as demonstrated ability to drive & manage multiple large-scale projects in parallel Open to travel to our sites on a as needed basis (40-60%) Excellent written and verbal communication skills (ability to communicate in German and/or French would be advantageous) Demonstrates excellent judgement and reliability in high-stress situations Analytical mindset Cultural sensitivity What do we offer you?
