Location: Watford Salary: 24,000 + Generous bonus scheme (OTE 28,000 +) Summary: At Bis Henderson, we are looking for an Operations Co-Ordinator to join a Global Logistics and Supply Provider.
The role focuses on liaising with customers, suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure orders are completed within customer set time-frames.
You will need to expedite orders in order to keep delays to a minimum as well as investigate and resolve discrepancies that may occur throughout the process.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a customer service focused position, with order processing and order expediting responsibilities.
They will also need to have excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities: Ensuring suppliers have processed purchase orders Expediting orders to reduce lead times where possible, keeping any delays to a minimum Reviewing all supplier provided documentation to ensure their compliance Liaising with clients, keeping them updated on the progress of their orders Investigating and resolving any discrepancies that may occur or are reported by the customer Maintaining close communications and developing relationships with freight forwarders, suppliers and customers Experience: Prior experience in a customer service focused position, with order processing and order expediting responsibilities Strong attention to detail and investigative mindset, able to notice and resolve discrepancies Knowledge and confident usage of MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook Experience working within the Supply Chain industry, speaking with suppliers and customers would be highly advantageous Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal All applicants must have an unrestricted right to work in the UK as our client will not support visa sponsorship for this role.
