Operational Team Manager - Salary ranges from Circa £35,000 - £45,000 Locations - Flexible, but Birmingham or Perth is preferred We have an exciting opportunity to join our Financial and Specialty Lines Digital team as a team leader.
A bit about the job: As a Financial and Specialty Lines Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 12 to 16 cross class trained underwriters based in Perth, Glasgow, Birmingham, Sheffield and Norwich.
You will play a crucial role in leading and developing our team.
Our fast paced team manages business traded digitally and we are available Monday - Friday 9am-5pm via live chat, emails, via the phone and work basket tasks.
Travelling to different office locations across the UK is part of the job, so a need to be flexible with your working pattern and location is a must for this.
Key Responsibilities Work collaboratively with our peers, specialists and performance manager to align with Aviva strategies and guidelines.
Strive for continuous efficiency and improvement in all processes.
Engage, direct, and motivate your team through regular huddles, meetings, and clear communication.
Help create a path for career development and growth for each direct report.
Evaluating and managing performance, identifying areas for improvement and delivering our high levels of service.
Skills and experience we're looking for: Ideally experience in people management & s trong interpersonal and communication skills Confidence in challenging the status quo, leading change, simplifying, and adapting at pace Ability to inspire high performance Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
Results oriented with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively What you'll get for this role : Salary ranges from Circa £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on skills, experience and qualifications).
Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary.
Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
