Job title: Operational Supervisor - Multi Trades
Location: Petworth to Chichester
Working Times: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum, dependant on experience
Equipment provided: Laptop, company mobile, company van
Our Expectations The role is focused on supervising and overseeing Multi Trade activities for both directly employed operatives (DLOs) and subcontractors. Key responsibilities include:
On-site Supervision:Oversee day-to-day multi-trade activities, drive productivity through effective planning and allocation of tasks and manage the performance of both in-house and subcontracted trades. Resource & Workload Planning: Effectively plan and allocate resources to ensure workload is completed on time and to a high standard. Monitor progress, adjust schedules as needed, and optimise productivity. Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work is conducted safely, adhering to Health & Safety protocols, conduct and review risk assessments and lead toolbox talks to ensure safety awareness among the workforce. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure that work meets high standards. Ensure the timely delivery of works in line with contract requirements. Client & Customer Engagement: Maintain good communication and build relationships with clients and customers. Address any concerns to ensure client satisfaction. Administration & Reporting: Maintain documented records of all processes, ensuring compliance with company procedures. Oversee In-House systems to provide regular reports on performance metrics, including progress on Health & Safety, quality, and productivity. Your Skills and Experience IT competent with highly proficient Excel skills Have a clean, full UK Driving Licence Strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of multi-trade activities and a good grasp of health and safety standards. SSSTS or SMSTS preferable Have experience of overseeing a team of operatives within planned maintenance and reactive emergency works (Local Authority/Social Housing sector including occupied homes and voids a distinct advantage.)
